The Pegasus has been around since 1983, but the Premium is Nike taking the franchise somewhere considerably more futuristic. Introduced in 2025, it stacks three of Nike’s biggest cushioning technologies into one shoe, with a sculpted full-length Air Zoom unit that looks as good as it feels. For 2026, this Black, Dark Concord, True Berry and Metallic Silver colorway makes that technology even harder to miss.
Breathable engineered mesh keeps the upper light, while full-length ZoomX sits above the visible Air Zoom unit and ReactX foam forms the base. Dark Concord and True Berry show through the cushioning against the mostly black upper, with Metallic Silver Swooshes adding a little shine. A very good reminder that performance shoes can still be sneakers.
